Star Wars Episode 1 : The Phantom Menace 3D

Kids (Erran Freya) loved the film and really enjoyed it but were highly critical of the 3D. It was crap in my opinion. Really has to be the last film not made for 3D that i watch. Yes depth is nice, but the kids and I want things that come out in your face. Roll on the next REAL 3D film we see, just dont know what that is

Midnight in Paris (2010)

A little slow to start and highly dependant on a suspension of disbelief that isn't what I was expecting but it's a nice little story to watch with a significant other (especially when you can say "been there!" at intervals through the film). Paris is certainly shown off to advantage.

Simon thought it was deadly dull (but he is only 10 so we'll let him off)

I suspect that you'd all hate it too.
